We are main agents for Stiga tractors and pedestrian lawnmowers.
Stiga produce a range of mulching and collecting rotary lawnmowers with Briggs and Stratton and Honda engines. A new range of engines designed and built by Stiga (GGP) has now been introduced across the range. These new engines are designed to be environmentally friendly ( they can run on ethanol, an alcohol based fuel made from vegetables and potatoes. This fuel is widely used in Sweden where Stiga build their tractors), powerful, quiet, reliable and most of all one pull starting due to a unique easy pull system. So even girlies can start them !
This will enable Stiga to shortly be introducing the worlds Quietest petrol lawnmower. This machine will produce no more noise than an electric lawnmower.
Stiga mulching is a proven system so the grass never has to be collected and is not left on the ground but chopped up so finely it is pushed into the lawn by the blowing action of the lawnmower and cannot be seen on the lawn.
Stiga also produce a range of collecting mowers including the Turbo pro which both collects or mulches by simple fitting of the (supplied) mulch plug.
2007 saw our best year for Stiga sales, especially Stiga pedestrian mulching mowers. Many customers are now asking for advice on mulching and are turning to Stiga for their choice of new machine.
2008 will see the introduction of several exiting new models in the ride-on range.
2009 lineup will be similar to 2008 with the introduction of a Honda 16 HP V twin engine added to the Ranger series.
Finally the Titan is by far the largest of the new models and will come in 25hp and 35hp three cylinder diesels with a range of large cutting decks up to 155cm (61 inches) in either belt or hydraulic drives. This model is designed for the heavy user with the largest of gardens up to several acres in size. It is also suitable for commercial usage such as caravan parks, playing fields etc. |
